Please give me your view on the following statement(s):It's time for Democrats to enact the big changes that Americans voted for, and ignore Republican obstructionism. One of the changes that should be initiated for the long term is making a Serious Bid for awarding the 2012 Democratic National Convention for New Orleans, Louisiana. . That year 2012 will mark the Bicentennial year of Louisiana as a state in the United States of America.. There are millions of Americans who is praying for the restoration of Louisiana and particularly New Orleans as a fully functioning vessel in the prosperity of the United States. As this initiative gains momentum, the rest of America, particularly President Obama will realize that the people of New Orleans and Louisianans are truly serious in leading the fight for joining the rest of America in taking charge of our own destiny. By taking this action, the Convention would be a "REAL" stimulus for the state of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast as a whole! Would you include this issue on your platform? Additionally, as the Mayor of New Orleans, would you commit to make this event a reality? If not, why not?
