James Perry Issues Statement on Rep. Austin Badon’s Possible Departure from Mayor’s Race
New Orleans, LA – Tonight James Perry, candidate for Mayor of New Orleans, issued the following statement in response to widespread media reports that State Representative Austin Badon will exit the 2010 Mayor’s race tomorrow at 11am.
James Perry, New Orleans mayoral candidate, issued the following statement:
“I know this was likely a decision that was a difficult one to arrive at for Austin but he’s an honorable public servant who to this point has run an honorable campaign,” said Perry. “I respect his decision and wish him well whether he decides to run for re-election or for the Council seat of District E.”
